Fract is concerned with ideas around the perception of time. It plays with notions of fixed and fluid time. Think of the ever-decreasing granularity of moments within moments. Think of the counterflow of these moments becoming expanses. Think of the interruptions and slippages that bring definition to flow.

It comprises 3 sequence sheets and 27 action cards per performer. Performers are asked to adhere strictly to the numbered actions on each of the sequence sheets. These numbers correspond to the 27 action cards allocated per performance, 9 for each movement.

These actions call for inputs prescribed, improvised and some open to free interpretation. In all actions the performer should remain mindful of both the electronics track and the concurrent actions of their co-performer at any given time. We are concerned with the fractal nature of moments and the fractures that give shape to time.
